Ananya Panday Opens Up About Her Battle With Skinny Shaming; Says "People Used To Say I Look Like A Boy, Flat Screen"
Ananya Panday made her debut in Bollywood with Punit Malhotra's Student Of The Year 2. Post her debut film, Ananya went on to impress many with her performance in Pati, Patni Aur Woh and Khaali Peeli. Given her amazing chemistry with Ishaan Khatter in Khaali Peeli, the duo were also rumoured to be dating.

Well, the actress' kitty is full of films and fans are eagerly waiting for her upcoming projects. Ananya, in a recent interaction, opened up about being body shamed while growing up. The Khaali Peeli actress said, "People used to say I look like a boy, flat screen. At that time it did hurt because those are the years where you are forming self confidence. You are learning to love yourself and someone else is pulling you down when you really start doubting yourself."

"Now, I am reaching a point where I am focusing on accepting myself. If that is sorted and that is my foundation then nothing can hurt me since I am at peace with myself and I love myself. I am not saying it has happened. It is an ongoing process but I feel this realisation is more important than what anyone else says, " added Ananya.

On the work front, Ananya will be seen opposite Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi soon. Fans are beyond excited. Other than that, she will also feature opposite South star Vijay Deverakonda in Liger.
